Bell Work
1. A 40 kg girl is being pulled by a 60 kg boy on a 10 kg sled on level ground in the snow. The boy is pulling up on the rope at an angle of 30 degrees from the ground with a force of 100 Newtons. What is the acceleration of the sled if the forces of friction are Static = 0.18 and Kinetic = 0.12. 2. A snowboarder is shredding down the trail "Flying Dutchman" at Keystone Resort in Colorado. At a point when the trail is at a 32 degree slope, the 70 kg snowboarder has reached a constant velocity of 36 mph. Assume air resistance is negligible.
