(Bell Work - 20 Min
1. Watch this Youtube Video about Evidence of Big Bang Cosmology (Also below) and look carefully for the information about the 4 pillars we learned about last class. 2. Take notes (3-4 bullet points for each pillar) while watching the video on the Google Classroom Form and turn in today. (You Don't need all the bullets completely filled in) Lesson - 30 Min 1. We are going to eventually write a 6 paragraph essay about the big bang theory with the four pillars being the main body of the essay. I just wanted to put that out there so you can think it over, but there is nothing due on that yet. 2. Use this time to get caught up on anything you didn't turn in or are falling behind on. I am going to try and simplify what we are doing in a few areas so hopefully you will see a difference next week in a few areas becoming easier to follow. |
TO DO
1. TODAY: Turn in Bell Work exercise today by 11:59 pm 2. TODAY: (optional and not graded but will help with the upcoming essay) Turn in your homework for today by 11:59 PM. (There are four main pillars of evidence for which the Big Theory sits upon. These pillars include 1) Background microwave radiation, 2) Inflation of everything in space moving away from each other, 3) formation of elements in very predictable amounts, and 4) the formation of stars and galaxies as predicted. Look over the notes you took on the four articles and In the space provided below, rearrange those notes so that they are organized into 3-5 bullet points for each of the four pillars. This should be as easy as rearranging your bell work notes into the four main pillars. Complete the following Google Classroom Link.) 3. FOR NEXT CLASS: Think about how you would write a 6 paragraph essay on the 4 pillars of evidence for the big bang theory. Notes and Office Hours
